Hannah Montana Movie CD Review & Giveaway- 3 Winners! (Ends 4/30)

So I admit it, I am a Hannah Montana fan. I don’t go out of my way to watch it, but if it is on TV or on the radio I watch and listen. You see I have an 11 year old sister who loves Hannah and she is always watching it at my house. Last year when the Hannah Montana 3D concert came to theatres, I took her to see it and I realized then that her music isn’t that bad! Now with the release of the Hannah Montana movie, I couldn’t help but be consumed by all the media about the movie. I see commercials all the time and the music they play is very catchy.

When I was asked if I wanted to check out a copy of the Hannah Montana The Movie soundtrack CD, I was excited. I immediately popped it into my computer and listened and you know what? It rocks! It is a catchy pop CD with songs that are easy to sing and relate to. It includes 14 brand new songs by Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, Billy Ray Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts, as well as 4 other songs. With 18 songs, this CD definetly has a song for everyone, and if you are like me, then it shouldn’t be hard to find a few favorites! What does my sister think? She is hooked! I think she has played it a million times already and knows all the words to every song!

Now I do not own any other Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus CDs, but I am glad I got the chance to preview this CD. It is just such a great CD to listen to and my favorite is to listen to it while I drive. I probably look strange as I sing the songs and bop around in my car, but thats okay! From her uptempo pop songs to her heartfelt single “The Climb,” there is a song for every mood I am in. The songs are also so well written and the lyrics are sung with such strength and a powerful voice.

You may think Miley Cyrus is all country, but she actually sings pop and hip hop style songs too. I think my favorite is the fun, quirky “Hoedown Throwdown.” It is a song that I can sing over and over, and my little sister even make up a whole dance to it! Her and her friends look adorable as they do their dang and sing along to it. The CD closes with the favorite “Best of Both Worlds” but it is a remix, so it is a perfect song to end the movie soundtrack with.

I think the CD also fascinates me because I am just so impressed with how much Miley Cyrus has accomplished and how she handles herself. I think she is such a great role model for young girls and I think she will be around for awhile. She has a great voice and she definitely knows how to use it! So whether you are young or old, I highly recommend checking out Hannah Montana and you may be surprised, like I was!
