Great New Infant Nutrition Website

Submitted by on October 30, 2009 – 11:11 PMNo Comment

New moms have so much to worry about that infant nutrition is not always at the top of the list. I remember that other than breast milk is the best and that name brands are the next best thing, I was clueless. Even now I struggle knowing the proper nutrition needs of my sons, 16 months and 33 months.

Well a new website called Infant Nutrition Center launched on October 19th to help us parents. The website is definitely unique as it provides a powerful visual journey through infant nutrition and development. The visuals show how proper nutrition shapes development and how nutrients benefit an infant’s body. The videos use 3D images and actual babies to explain the latest research findings on questions such as “Why infant eyesight depends on getting enough DHA?” and “What key nutrients contribute to the healthy growth of your child’s brain?”

The Infant website was developed as a resource for moms (and dads) to bring together information from leading healthy care centers and researchers. The videos use researchers from across the country to explain how nutrition is crucial to infant development. The website starts with how moms should take care of themselves while pregnant and then help with nutrition afterwards.

I was really impressed with these videos and the website overall. I had read most of the information before, but the videos were nice because they put all the information together and it is all on a reputable and trustworthy website. I would recommend this website to all moms-to-be and even moms who could use a refresher! You can also check here to watch a webcast unveiling the new site.
