Duraflame Stax Review & Giveaway (Ends 3/14)
Our new house has a fireplace, and honestly my husband and I don’t know the first thing about it. I know we need to have it checked out annually and that it has gas coming to it, but that’s it. Now since we were unsure what kind of wood to use and we wanted it to be safe for our kids, I was thrilled when I heard about a new product from Duraflame called Stax Logs.
Stax logs take just minutes to build without the mess or splinters. You need just two Stax logs to start with and they last for about two hours before you may need to add more.
Stax Features:
• Designed for fireplaces, woodstoves and outdoor firepits
• Stackable logs won’t break apart easily while burning
• Natural crackling sounds of wood fire
• Split wood shape and burn with charred appearance
• More heat output than firelogs
• Made from 100% Renewable Resources
• 50% less pollutants than a wood fire
• A 3-log pack is the equivalent to 25-30 lbs. of seasoned firewood.
Since the Duraflame Stax logs provide a true, clean-burning fire I feel comfortable using them around my kids. When we lit them, my son’s were amazed. They had never seen a real fire before and they had no clue what the fireplace was for. We ended up only having the one fire so far but it was definitely nice. I am sure real outdoorsy people would prefer actual wood logs, but the Duraflame makes it a safe and easy way for clueless people like me to work a fireplace! It is also nice if you are in a hurry or looking for a better substitute for wood.
I would definitely recommend Duraflame to anyone and other than the new Stax, they also offer other great products that are all safe and cleaner than wood. The original Duraflame Xtra Firelogs are actually America’s number 1 selling firelog. Now I know Duraflame is probably a little more expensive than firewood, especially if you have a wood stockpile from cutting down trees, but I would recommended at least checking them out and then making your decision.
Here is also a great instructional video from Duraflame:

We use our fire pit as soon as the weather gets warmer and
use it all the way till November.
Thanks for the giveaway.
My daughter and husband use their fireplace alot in the winter. We have a firepit out in the backyard and we use it every weekend in the summer.
We use our fire place about once a month
We have a fire about once a month but would love to more often. We dont do it more often because we don’t have anywhere to store wood and buying it by the fire is too costly.

Actually have 3 fireplaces, one wood burning, the other two gas. Have used them to cook, snuggle, keep the house warm, just for aesthetics, and emotional warmth.

In the winter, we use our fireplace every day. In the summer, we have fires in our firepit outdoors. Thanks!

We’ve never used it, we just moved to this state. We had one in our first apartment and never used that one either. It can save money on the electricity bills – I just don’t like the headaches it triggers. I do think its romantic though!
We don’t have a fireplace, but my I sure would like to win this to send to my sister-in-law who shares her home with my 90 year old mother-in-law. They live in the south, but have had some very cold days there this winter, and would really enjoy this to take off the chill!
My fiance and I like to start a fire and just talk.
We use our fireplace only a few times a season because it is a lot of effort to get a fire going.
I would love to win this Thank You for this great giveaway fancyfeet45@earthlink.net
