MY REVIEW:

I thought this DVD was adorable.   My 3 year old is not really into Barney so he was a little antsy waiting for the rest of the episodes, as I let it Auto-Play, but my 18 month old loves Barney so it was cute.  As always Barney had his catchy songs and showed good values, as did all the rest of the characters!  Thomas showed how even though he had to miss something he really wanted to watch, it was important for him to complete his task.  Bob and friends worked together and got creative.  I think though Fireman Sam was my favorite as it had a very catchy safety song featuring the color “red.”  It’s idea was to use the color red if you are in danger and I think that is a great lesson for all kids, especially little kids who know the color red but are not so good with words.  All the episodes featured bright, colorful objects and I think it is great for kids learning their colors, or just to get them excited about colors.

Just to sow you how much my sons liked it, we watched it three times in a row the first night!  The episodes are short but just the right length to get the message through and show off the characters.  I love how the DVD features different characters and episodes, so my sons (and me) got a variety and they got to see how all the different characters have similar goals and plans.
