My son loves tools, so Handy Manny is of course one of his favorite shows.  Geared towards preschoolers, the show helps kids learn important lessons including problem solving and working together, all while slipping in Spanish words and phrases.  It is a cute show that has fun and memorable characters and catchy music.  Aidan definitely understand how all the tools have to work together to finish the job.

Well now Handy Manny is premiering in a primetime special that features Handy Manny and race cars!  Yes my son will be glued to it, and I will be recording it too!

If you have a Handy Manny (or NASCAR) fan in your house, get ready – on Saturday, March 20^th a brand new primetime special, “Handy Manny Big Race” will air on the Disney Channel.  Guest stars Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Lance Bass join Wilmer Valderrama (the voice of Manny) and the rest of the “Handy Manny” gang as they prepare for the famed Wood Valley 500 race. Manny and the tools team up with Eliot to revamp his used race car, as race time approaches, Elliot’s nerves get the best of him. Famous racecar driver, Chase Davis (Earnhardt, Jr.) and Manny both jump in to help. What happens next? Tune in on March 20^th to find out!

Before kids, Saturday nights were movie nights for my husband and I, now we watch family movies.  It is going to be fun though because Aidan is really going to love it!  To get kids excited about the premier, there is also a fun game online to play where you get to decorate your own car!
