Yeah for New Pillow Shopping!

Submitted by on March 2, 2010 – 7:32 PM2 Comments

My least favorite part of my bed are my pillows.  They are awful, mainly because they are old and worn out.  I am definitely in need of new bedding overall, but pillows are probably where I am going to start.  I have started looking at an orthopedic pillow.  I used to buy whatever pillow was the cheapest but still fluffy, but now I am willing to spend some extra money to get a better night’s sleep.

I didn’t realize until now, that there are so many different types and styles of pillows.  There are foam, some you fill with water, and others in different ranges of firmness, sizes, and prices.  There are even pillows for different ailments.  For my aching neck, there is even a specialized neck pain pillow I could purchase.  I am not sure though if I have more pain in my neck or back but I figure anything with support is better than nothing.

I am not the only one in pain in our bed, my poor husband is suffering right alongside me.  My husband routinely complains about back pains and has tried sleeping in different positions, using different amounts of pillows, and is desperate for a new pillow too!  I looked into a back pain treatment, but I figure it is cheaper to start with a pillow!

So I am now searching around online to see what I can find and figure that will at least give me an idea of what to buy.  I always get better deals shopping online too!

Mama’s Money Savers Disclosure:  I did receive compensation for this post, but it is 100% my opinion.

Hi there! I just came across this and wanted to let you know my hubby has a bed store in Lombard! He’s got some pretty nice pillows, Tempur Pillows, he even has some pillows that are designed to stay cool thru the night!
He just moved locations, so if you’re interested let me know and I’ll give you directions!
